Founder Institute Singapore Hiring! Full Time Startup Mentor in - Ricebowl

Founder Institute Singapore is looking for experienced founders, operators, investors, and domain experts who are keen to support the next generation of early-stage entrepreneurs.

As part of the Founder Institute Singapore mentor community, you will help aspiring founders test ideas, sharpen their thinking, avoid common mistakes, and build companies with stronger foundations.

This is a volunteer mentor role for individuals who are passionate about entrepreneurship, ecosystem-building, and giving back to the startup community.

What you will do

• Mentor early-stage founders and provide practical feedback
• Share lessons from your own founder, operator, investor, or domain experience
• Help founders think through customer validation, go-to-market, fundraising, product, strategy, operations, or leadership
• Participate in selected Founder Institute Singapore sessions as a mentor, speaker, panelist, or reviewer
• Support a high-trust community of serious founders and experienced mentors

Who we are looking for

• Founders, exited founders, startup operators, angel investors, VCs, product leaders, corporate innovators, or domain experts
• Individuals with practical experience building, scaling, investing in, or advising startups
• People who are direct, constructive, generous with feedback, and willing to challenge founders thoughtfully
• Mentors who understand that early-stage founders need both encouragement and honest reality checks

Relevant areas of expertise include

• Startup strategy and business model validation
• Fundraising and investor readiness
• Product management and product-market fit
• Go-to-market, sales, marketing, and partnerships
• AI, healthtech, fintech, edtech, deeptech, sustainability, or other domain verticals
• Legal, finance, HR, operations, leadership, and governance

Commitment

This is a flexible volunteer role. Mentors may contribute through selected events, office hours, judging sessions, fireside chats, workshops, or founder feedback sessions.
