Role Description


Based in Singapore, this is an entrepreneurial Co-founder role working along with the founder. We are seeking individuals with a view to embark on an Enterprising role instead of being an employee. (we are interested to speak to individuals whom are qualified, professionals and wish to embark on a sustainable career which one is in control of- dignified, fulfilling & of impact) The Associate General Manager will, down the path be the full fledge General Manager of the Singapore branch.


With the support & mentorship of the founder, The Associate Alliance Director will develop and manage strategic business alliances, partnerships, and collaborations to advance the company’s mission. Responsibilities include identifying and cultivating relationships with potential partners, executing business plans, managing client acquisition distribution channels, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, the role also entails representing the organization in partnership meetings and overseeing the implementation of partnership and business projects. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for an individual with personal maturity, courage, fortitude, foresight and independence of thought & desired control over personal career.


Qualifications


  • Minimum 10 years of corporate executive experience in business development & corporate marketing with global organizations in the following industries- banking & financial services/logistic/ hotel & accommodation/ Airline
  • Residence of Singapore
  • Deep personal interest of Africa/ exposure to Africa
  • Prior profile of APAC centric organization executive
  • Self- directed with corporate maturity persona
  • Deep understanding & appreciation of ASEAN economical- social dynamics
  • Strong prior career exposure to ASEAN business markets & landscape- Indonesia/ Philippines/Malaysia/ South Korea/ Taiwan/ Hong Kong.
  • Strong expertise in Strategic Alliances, Business Alliances, and Strategic Partnerships
  • Proficiency in Business Planning and developing actionable initiatives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across internal and external teams
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive organizational growth
  • Experience working in destination management, tourism, or related sectors is a plus
  • Familiarity of Africa and had prior visited South Africa is added plus
