Role Description
The Quality Assurance Intern role at TotalEnergies is a temporary, on-site position based in Tuas.
The intern will support day-to-day quality assurance activities, including assisting in the implementation and monitoring of quality procedures, reviewing documentation, and helping to maintain compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Responsibilities may include supporting product inspections, conducting basic quality checks, gathering and organizing quality data, and preparing simple reports for the QA team.
The intern will also help with the coordination of internal audits, follow-up on corrective and preventive actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
This role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as production, operations, and HSE.

Qualifications
  • Foundational understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles, with an interest in applying them in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Awareness of Quality Management concepts and willingness to learn how quality systems are implemented and maintained.
  • Interest in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and basic familiarity with compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Exposure to or interest in Quality Auditing, including participation in internal checks, preparation of audit materials, or follow-up on findings.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) for data recording and report preparation.
