Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an M&E Project Engineer located in Klang Valley. The M&E Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects of building services projects. This includes planning, designing, and implementing M&E systems, as well as coordinating with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders. The role involves supervising construction activities, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and managing facility management (FM) and building maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in M&E and Building Services
• Experience in Facility Management (FM) and Building Maintenance
• Strong background in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field
• Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Required Skill(s): MS Excel, AutoCAD, Words
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Capable of leading and working effectively with foreign workers and subcontractors
• To attend site meetings and highlight any defects in construction works.
• Must have a valid driving license, own vehicle, and willingness to travel as required

Key Responsibilities:

* Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.

* Preparing and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.

* Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects. Evaluate operations and processes

* Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.

* Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best works / task to be completed

* Review and provide update technical drawings and engineering plans. Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency

* Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.

* Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant party and personel

* Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.

* Assisting quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.

* Inspect facilities and analyze operational data

* Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards

* Incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable features into design plans

* Prepare proposal documents and presentations

* Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and regulation.

* Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines

* Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities

* Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes

* Coordinate with the supplier and end user.
