Job Summary

You will assist architects in transforming designs into technical plans for authority submissions, tendering, and construction. Collaborate with clients and project teams to realize visionary architectural concepts with strong design and technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine architectural concepts and designs aligned with project requirements to achieve functional and aesthetic goals
  • Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Enscape to support design development and construction documentation
  • Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to identify project constraints and opportunities, informing design decisions
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery
  • Assist in selecting materials, finishes, and sustainable design solutions to enhance project quality and environmental performance
  • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards to meet legal and safety requirements
  • Coordinate preparation and submission of forms, drawings, and documentation required by authorities for approval and TOP/CSC, including performing floor area calculations and coloring submission drawings
  • Monitor local authority submissions, track approval status, and update project teams accordingly to maintain compliance timelines
  • Maintain organized records and manage filing and retrieval of submission drawings and authority information for efficient project tracking
  • Contribute to presentations and client meetings by preparing compelling visual and verbal communications to support project proposals and updates

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant architectural experience to support project execution and design development
  • Familiarity with Singapore authority submissions and regulations to facilitate smooth approval processes
  • Experience in residential projects to apply relevant design knowledge and client expectations
  • Competency in SketchUp and AutoCAD to efficiently produce design and technical drawings
