Hiring: Senior Sourcing Executive
Location: Johor Bahru, Johor

Industry: Metal Fabrication Manufacturing

Our client, a well-established metal fabrication manufacturer, is looking for a Senior Sourcing Executive to join their growing team. If you have strong procurement experience in manufacturing and are skilled in supplier management, cost negotiation, and sourcing strategies, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, consumables, and production-related services.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ensure continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, and Quality teams to support operational requirements.
• Monitor market trends, material pricing, and supply chain risks.
• Manage RFQs, supplier quotations, cost analysis, and sourcing activities.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules.
• Resolve supply-related issues, including quality concerns and delivery delays.
• Prepare sourcing reports and procurement-related documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sourcing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal, machining, steel products, or industrial manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis skills.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple sourcing projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
