About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead Project Scheduler to support a large-scale regional project. This individual contributor role will play a critical part in ensuring schedule accuracy, transparency, and alignment across stakeholders located in Australia and Central Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project while collaborating closely with cross-functional and cross-regional teams. This role requires strong scheduling ownership, proactive communication, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (MS Project)
- Ensure schedule accuracy, transparency, and alignment across multiple project stakeholders and regions
- Monitor project progress, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and schedule risks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to gather updates and maintain schedule integrity
- Analyze schedule performance and proactively identify potential delays or conflicts
- Provide schedule forecasting, scenario analysis, and recovery planning where necessary
- Maintain schedule baselines and ensure updates are properly documented
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to support overall project execution
- Drive consistency and best practices in project scheduling and planning processes
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project scheduling or project planning roles
- Strong hands-on experience using Microsoft Project (MS Project) in complex project environments
- Proven experience owning and managing detailed project schedules independently
- Experience working with international and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple time zones
- Experience in large industrial, automation, engineering, manufacturing, or MHE project environments would be an advantage
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, and project controls
- Ability to manage multiple project timelines and dependencies effectively

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
