Assistant Manager, Finance (Hospitality Division)
Job Purpose
To oversee the financial operations of the Hospitality Division, ensuring timely financial reporting, effective cash flow management, budget control, compliance, and support to hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Review payment approvals and ensure compliance with policies and authority limits.
- Support hotel operations on profitability improvement and cost management initiatives.
- Drive process improvements, internal controls, and finance transformation projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, property, or service industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
