About the Role

Are you an aspiring Network Engineer with a passion for enterprise wireless and mobility solutions We are seeking an agile, hands-on Junior Network Engineer specializing in the HPE Aruba ecosystem to join our infrastructure team.

In this role, you will transition out of basic helpdesk/monitoring into an environment where you have true administrative ownership of corporate wired and wireless systems. Working alongside senior engineers, you will manage day-to-day operations, support Aruba mobility deployment, and ensure seamless network connectivity across our enterprise footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Operations & L1/L2 Support: Provide timely technical support for our corporate wired and wireless network infrastructure, actively resolving client connectivity issues, VLAN misconfigurations, and device alerts.
• Aruba Wireless Administration: Assist in managing, maintaining, and basic configuration of Aruba Mobility Controllers, Mobility Conductors, and Aruba Access Points (APs).
• Wired Switching Infrastructure: Configure and manage ArubaOS-CX and legacy HPE switches (handling VLAN configuration, Link Aggregation/LACP, and basic routing).
• Network Security & Access Control: Assist with routine tasks within Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM), including 802.1X authentication troubleshooting, device profiling, and guest onboarding.
• Proactive Monitoring: Use enterprise management systems like Aruba Central and Aruba AirWave to monitor network health and optimize performance.
• Documentation & SOPs: Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, inventory lists, and write standard operating procedures for faster issue resolution.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in enterprise networking, with at least 1 year of dedicated, hands-on exposure to HPE Aruba environments.
• Core Networking Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and basic routing protocols (Static, OSPF).
• Wireless Fundamentals: Solid familiarity with RF principles, wireless security protocols, and 802.11 wireless standards.
• Certifications (Highly Preferred):
• Aruba Certified Associate or Professional track (ACMA, ACMP, ACSA, or ACSP).
• Cisco certifications (CCNA) are highly regarded if paired with practical Aruba experience.
• Soft Skills: A sharp analytical/troubleshooting mindset, clear verbal and written communication skills, and a strong desire to learn from senior mentors.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
