Role Description This is a temporary, on-site QA Coordinator role based in Tuas. The QA Coordinator will support daily quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure that products and processes comply with internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing and maintaining quality documentation, coordinating inspections and testing, investigating non-conformities, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. The role involves collaborating with production, operations, and HSE teams to monitor quality performance indicators, support audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The QA Coordinator will also assist in training team members on quality procedures and helping to implement and sustain quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Management, with experience applying quality standards and procedures in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret test data, identify trends, investigate root causes, and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, document findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards), audits, and continuous improvement tools is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Familiarity with HSE principles in an industrial setting and proficiency with common office and data management software are advantageous.
