Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Manager role based in Alor Setar. The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch operations, including supervising sales and support teams, managing inventory, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. The role includes setting sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to grow branch revenue and market share. The Branch Manager will ensure an excellent customer experience by resolving issues promptly, upholding service standards, and maintaining a professional showroom environment. The position also involves coordinating with regional and central teams on marketing initiatives, operational improvements, and reporting, while driving continuous process optimization at the branch level.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in branch management, retail operations, or sales leadership, ideally in automotive, e-commerce, or related industries.
  • Strong people management skills, including team coaching, performance management, and the ability to motivate diverse teams toward common goals.
  • Solid sales and customer relationship skills, with the ability to set targets, track KPIs, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • Operational and administrative skills, including inventory oversight, basic financial understanding (P&L, budgeting), and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact confidently with customers and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, interpret data, and implement practical, data-informed solutions at branch level.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership, aligned with CARSOME’s core values and a performance-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Proficiency in basic office software and digital tools; familiarity with CRM or sales management systems is an advantage.
