Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Project Delivery
Lead the full project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies, conceptual design, and procurement through to construction, testing & commissioning , and final handover.
Ensure flawless execution of corporate fit-out and building construction projects, consistently meeting or exceeding agreed time, cost, and quality benchmarks.
Orchestrate and align multidisciplinary external parties, including consultants, main contractors, landlords, and vendor networks.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary trusted point of contact for corporate clients, fostering long-term relationships and alignment.
Manage expectations proactively, facilitating transparent communication, conflict resolution, and data-driven decision-making.
3. Programme & Commercial Control
Develop and master-track detailed project schedules, critical paths, and key milestones to prevent project slippage.
Oversee project financial health and drive robust cost-control measures in close collaboration with Quantity Surveyors .
Implement risk-mitigation strategies, actively tracking project risks, scope changes, and performance metrics.
4. Governance, Compliance & Reporting
Establish transparent reporting, preparing executive dashboards, progress reports, and presentations for senior management.
Chair key project meetings and ensure meticulous management of all project documentation.
Guarantee strict compliance with Hong Kong statutory regulations (e.g., Buildings Ordinance, FSD regulations) and internal corporate governance standards.
5. Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Provide strategic support to senior leadership in business planning and resource allocation.
Mentor and develop junior project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of high performance.
Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining project management methodologies .
Job Requirements
Degree Holder: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management
Minimum 5–8 years of solid experience in project management, focusing on high-end corporate fit-out, commercial office interiors, or A&A works in Hong Kong.
Local Regulations: Deep understanding of Hong Kong statutory regulations, including the Buildings Ordinance, Fire Services Department (FSD) codes, and landlord fit-out guidelines.
Commercial Acumen: Strong proficiency in contract administration (e.g., Hong Kong standard forms of contract), tendering processes, cost control, and variation management.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage demanding corporate clients, landlords, and diverse contractor networks.
Problem Solving: A proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure, meets tight deadlines, and adeptly manages project risks and unexpected site changes.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
