Responsibilities

Creating and updating wine lists

Making recommendations on food and wine pairings

Provide wine recommendations to guests based on their personal tastes and food choices

Ensuring that the wine cellar is fully stocked

Negotiating prices with vendors

To assit in wine function in the club and wine service in the outlets on a daily basis when required

Manage Inventory

Work efficient and accurately to maximize sales

Operate POS systems

Handle customer enquiries and complaints

Maintain the area clean and tidy

Requirements

Retail sales experience in wine is essential

WSET 2 preferred

Wine service experience preferred

Ability to work under pressure

Good numeracy skills to handle POS systems and stock

Ability to follow health and safety practices

Good spoken English

Able to work on weekends and public holidays

Polite and friendly manner

A high level of personal hygiene and a smart appearance
