Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for a growing business in Malaysia.

This role will be responsible for financial reporting, taxation, compliance, internal controls, financial analysis, and supporting the establishment and ongoing financial operations of the Malaysia business entity.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial management activities
• Manage general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing processes
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
• Provide financial analysis and business insights to support decision-making

Company Setup & Compliance

• Support financial, accounting, tax, and regulatory matters related to company establishment and operations
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and financial regulations
• Coordinate business registration and ongoing regulatory compliance activities

Taxation & Audit

• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities
• Support audit activities and financial reporting requirements

Cost Control & Business Support

• Monitor costs and expenses to improve operational efficiency
• Provide financial support and analysis for business operations
• Identify risks and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls

Process Improvement & Internal Controls

• Establish and continuously improve financial processes and internal control systems
• Ensure proper governance and compliance standards are maintained
• Support financial system enhancements and process automation initiatives

Group Reporting

• Support group financial consolidation and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams when required

Requirements:
Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent are highly preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred
• Experience managing full-set accounts and financial reporting functions

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities

Language Requirements

• Proficient in both English and Mandarin
• Able to communicate effectively with local and regional stakeholders

Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
