We are looking for automation engineers to join our newly expanded fab in Singapore. You will have the opportunity to lead new technology transfer, new line setup, maintenance, quality and productivity improvements to ensure production runs smoothly.
Responsibilitie
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for FOUP Stockers, Reticle Stockers, Sorters, and related automation systems to achieve operational targets
- Support daily AMHS operations and respond promptly to equipment issues to minimize production downtime
- Monitor and manage performance metrics for AMHS, Sorters, and FOUP systems
- Lead maintenance activities, troubleshooting efforts, and vendor coordination for automation systems
- Develop new system functions and optimize existing automation solutions to improve equipment and system performance
- Analyze system performance data, gather user requirements, and initiate quality and reliability improvement projects
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering, IT teams, and external vendors to maximize throughput and operational efficiency
- Drive project management activities, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality management, to ensure successful project execution
- Support technology transfers, new line setup activities, and automation system enhancements for fab expansion projects
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering innovative solutions
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience in IT infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, particularly Windows-based industrial PCs (IPC), will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, foundry operations, or AMHS systems is highly desirable
