Role Description

The IT Support Officer is responsible for delivering technical support and ensuring the reliable operation of information technology systems across the organization. This role serves as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues and plays a critical role in maintaining productivity by providing timely and effective solutions.

The position involves troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system-related issues while assisting users with a wide range of technology needs. The IT Support Officer responds to support requests, diagnoses problems, identifies root causes, and implements solutions that minimize downtime and improve user experience.

A key responsibility includes installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading computer systems, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other technology equipment. The role also manages user accounts, system permissions, password resets, software installations, and device setup to ensure employees have secure access to the tools they need.

The IT Support Officer monitors system performance, performs routine maintenance, and assists with technology deployments, updates, and infrastructure improvements.
