Job Summary

You will install, service, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot marine outboard engines to ensure optimal performance and safety on small boats and crafts. You will work closely with a team to maintain equipment and assist with related repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install marine outboard engines following technical specifications to ensure proper operation
• Service and repair outboard engines to restore and maintain functionality
• Perform routine inspections and overhauls to identify and resolve engine issues
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in outboard engines to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret service manuals to apply correct maintenance procedures
• Maintain all equipment onboard small boats and crafts collaboratively with a team of technicians
• Assist in repairing trailers as needed to support overall equipment readiness
• Prepare service reports and documentations
• Complete any ad-hoc duties assigned to support team and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Hands-on experience in servicing and repairing marine outboard engines
• Ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment
• Effective communication skills to collaborate within a technical team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Electrical skills relevant to marine equipment maintenance
• Possession of a class 3 driver’s license
