Job Summary

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost estimation, tender submissions, contract administration, and managing project claims.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit detailed tender documentation to support successful project bids
• Manage progress claims and payments, including valuation of variations and final account settlements to ensure accurate financial tracking
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers, and contractors to certify claims for payments and resolve contract issues
• Administer contracts by monitoring compliance and facilitating communication between stakeholders to mitigate risks and support project delivery
• Apply analytical skills to review project costs and identify opportunities for cost control and optimization
• Work proactively and independently to meet tight deadlines while contributing as a collaborative team member

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a contractor

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience exceeding 2 years, considered for Senior Quantity Surveyor roles
