Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the manufacturing quality assurance including in-process quality, semi-finished product quality, and outgoing product quality.

· Work with cross functional team and/or supplier to resolve customer complaint within a stipulated timeframe.

· Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI), evaluation and verification of new parts.

· Manage and review supplier PPAP and first article inspection (FAI) and closely monitor supplier product quality from pilot run to mass production.

· Work closely with Inspector and Technicians to ensure incoming materials comply with established specifications, resolve issues.

· Perform non-conforming products analysis, responsible for non-conforming materials disposition and Material Review Board (MRB) and drive corrective and preventive actions.

· Align quality acceptance criteria and methodologies withcustomers/suppliers.

· Ensure proper documentation and product inspection /validation / testing is properly implemented.

· Manage supplier quality and driving supplier quality improvement activities.

· Drive supplier quality issue resolution and review Supplier Correction Action Report (SCAR/8D).

· Support and conduct internal and external audit on QMS ISO9001, EMS ISO 14001 and CSER (Corporate Social Environment Responsibility) and improvement activities to ensure system in place.

· Report weekly Supplier/CM quality performance to management.

· Travelling is a must for this role, to manage the supplier regionally (Within and outside Singapore).

· Any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or a diploma with equivalent relevant experience

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an EMS or OEM environment. Technical experience in machining, fabrication, system assembly, or semiconductor manufacturing will be an added advantage.

· ISO 9001 auditor experiences or certification, proven experience in conducting supplier audits and implementing corrective actions.

· Preferably trained and have good knowledge in Quality control tools (PPAP/PFMEA/SPC/MSA etc.).

· Well-versed of 8D principles and application in driving issue resolution.

· Familiar with Measurement instruments (CMM operation and program, Profile Projector, Smart Scope, Micrometer etc.) is a plus.

· Strong project management skills and ability to work well independently and collaboratively.

· Experience in managing quality escalation, containment and countermeasures

· Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

· Possess technical knowledge and experience good and effective communication skills with all levels within the organization,suppliers and customers.

· Ability to provide leadership, direction, identify and resolve issues with other departments effectively
