About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join the Broth Bowl team. This role involves both food preparation and kitchen cleaning duties to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent food quality. We are open Monday to Friday only, offering a work schedule that supports a better work-life balance compared to many F&B establishments.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards.
* Assist with daily food preparation, portioning, and ingredient handling.
* Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained.
* Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service.
* Perform opening and closing kitchen duties.
* Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations at all times.
* Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and receiving deliveries.
* Work closely with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Support other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
* Previous kitchen or cooking experience is preferred but not required.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
* Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety practices.
* Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
