Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and commercial support to the Freight Forwarding Sales team.
  • Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, and rate sheets in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Operations, and overseas offices to obtain pricing and service information.
  • Support the preparation and submission of RFQs, RFIs, and customer tenders.
  • Maintain and update customer information, sales opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
  • Generate sales reports, pipeline reports, and business performance analyses for management review.
  • Monitor quotation validity and follow up on outstanding opportunities with the sales team.
  • Assist in customer onboarding activities, including account setup and documentation management.
  • Coordinate customer contracts, service agreements, and credit application processes.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements and commitments.
  • Support the organization of customer meetings, presentations, business reviews, and sales events.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and commercial governance requirements while maintaining proper documentation and records.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Sales Support, Customer Service, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Freight Forwarding operations will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM systems and quotation management tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
