Garment Tagger & Defect Checker

Job Overview:

The Garment Tagger and Defect Checker plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers’ garments are correctly tagged and inspected for any damages or defects. This position requires attention to detail and precision, as garments come in for processing. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Tagging and Identification:

• Attach barcode tags to each garment before processing.

• Follow tagging guide on position to attach tag to garment

• Log items into POS system and ensure each garment is accurately recorded by type, color and brand

Defect Inspection:

• Conduct inspection of each garment for any visible defects, including stains, tears, holes, fading, missing buttons, or other damages.

• Log any pre-existing issues, defects, or special handling requirements into POS System before processing

• Communicate to customers the pre-existing issues or defects via Whatsapp

• Seek customer permission for processing for high risk issues/defects

Work environment:

Air-conditioned Office Setting and Factory Set up 

Working Hours:

8am to 5pm (Mon - Sats)

Flexible working schedule, can go home once work is completed.
