We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in core banking platforms (Finacle) and hybrid infrastructure environments, combining legacy systems with modern cloud-native technologies.

The ideal candidate will support mission-critical banking systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain hybrid infrastructure (on-premise + cloud platforms such as AWS)

• Deploy and administer containerized applications using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift

• Design, implement, and support DevOps pipelines for application deployment and release automation

• Administer and support enterprise middleware platforms including WebSphere, JBoss, Apache HTTP Server, and IBM HTTP Server

• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management for critical banking systems

• Ensure infrastructure compliance with security standards, including SSL configuration and vulnerability management

• Participate in 24x7 support rotation for critical systems if required

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Finacle or equivalent core banking systems

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in an enterprise environment

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and containerization technologies

• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Jenkins, Git, Ansible)

• Strong system administration experience in Linux and/or AIX environments

• Hands-on experience with enterprise middleware platforms (WebSphere, JBoss, Apache, IBM HTTP Server)

• Experience in monitoring tools and practices (e.g., CloudWatch)

• Knowledge of security best practices, including SSL, patching, and vulnerability management

• Experience working in large-scale financial services or banking environments

Preferred / Good to Have

Experience with OpenShift platform

Exposure to hybrid cloud transformation initiatives

Familiarity with banking regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., MAS guidelines)

Experience supporting high-volume, high-availability transaction systems

Key Competencies

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work in high-pressure, production-critical environments

Good communication skills with ability to engage multiple stakeholders (technical & business)
