Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience with SQL Account Software will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes (GRN), supplier management, and inventory transactions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, supermarket, food & beverage, or related industries will be an added advantage.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with suppliers, manage purchasing operations, optimise inventory levels, and contribute directly to the growth and success of the company. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
  • Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) using SQL Account Software.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and operations teams to forecast purchasing requirements.
  • Compare quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and purchasing documentation.
  • Update product costs and supplier information within SQL Account.
  • Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for management review.
  • Support the introduction of new products and suppliers to drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and quality standards.
