The Role

Own the strategy, lead the growth - here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Shape and execute growth plans to expand market presence, grow revenue, and strengthen profitability across Malaysia
  • Identify and convert new commercial opportunities across electronics, healthcare, F&B, oil & gas, and metal fabrication sectors
  • Own the full commercial cycle - from proposal creation and contract negotiation through to supply agreement execution
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and product teams to develop customised gas solutions for specific customer needs
  • Maintain a well-qualified opportunity pipeline, driving momentum from first contact through to deal closure
  • Track market shifts, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to refine positioning and inform pricing decisions
  • Build, guide, and develop a commercially focused sales team with a performance-driven and customer-first mindset

What We're Looking For

A commercially driven, strategically minded business development professional:

  • 8-12 years of experience in industrial gases, specialty gases, or a related heavy industry environment
  • At least 2 years in a sales leadership role within an MNC or manufacturing business
  • Sound knowledge of industrial gas products, their applications, and the sectors they serve
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and growth targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging at senior and executive levels
  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related discipline
