JOB PURPOSE

Senior project-management resource supporting the Assistant Head of GII on portfolio governance — running the project-management discipline across all 10 pilots, supporting the Technical Delivery Managers, and managing cross-pilot dependencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Run the project-management discipline across all 10 GII pilots — methodology, templates, status reporting, dependency tracking.
• Support the three Technical Delivery Managers on programme-level coordination and resource sharing across the pilot portfolio.
• Manage cross-pilot dependencies — shared vendors, shared cloud resources, shared ministry approvals.
• Maintain the GII portfolio dashboard; provide weekly portfolio-level status to the Assistant Head of GII.
• Coordinate with the Programme Operations Manager on scheduling, action-tracking and Steering Committee preparation.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Senior project-management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, certifications).
• Experience running multi-project portfolios in technology or innovation environments.
• Strong tooling discipline — JIRA, Confluence, MS Project or equivalent.
• Excellent written communication and status-reporting discipline.
• Ability to coordinate across technical, ministry and partner stakeholders.
