SIDC Hiring! Full Time Manager, Finance in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the General Manager, Finance & Corporate Resources, the role is expected to be in-charge of the overall running and supervising of the department functions effectively to ensure smooth support of SIDC operations and business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist General Manager in providing accurate financial reports and analysis on organization operations
• Ensure effective supervision and smooth operation of the department
• Implement and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures and Financial Accounting Standards
• Prepare annual business plan, budget, financial forecasts and project management reports
• Ensure ERP Finance module data accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements
• Control and monitor approved budget utilization, cashbook and treasury functions
• Monitor and administer Bumiputera Training Fund and Bumiputera Dealers Representative Education Fund
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
• Coordinate with tax agents on tax submissions and related matters
• Perform cross-functional and ad-hoc tasks to support departmental and SIDC KPIs

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Accounting and Finance
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA are an added advantage
• 4 – 5 years of working experience in Accounting and Finance

Other General Requirements:

• Familiar with ERP Finance Module
• Strong team player with proven leadership skills and self-driven attitude
• Strong financial acumen, analytical, reporting, audit and assurance knowledge
• Sound knowledge of the Malaysian capital market or financial services industry
