But as any artist knows, great masterpieces come with great cleanups. That’s where you come in. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Studio Janitor to keep our creative space sparkling, safe, and welcoming for our artists, guests, and team.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Your primary mission is to keep our studio environment pristine so the creativity can keep flowing. Daily tasks will include:

• Studio Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and scrub studio floors, ensuring paint spills, dust, and creative residues are safely cleaned up.
• Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, and safely dispose of specialized art waste/materials.
• Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms, common areas, and the staff breakroom to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitor cleaning supply levels and let management know when it’s time to restock.
• Space Reset: Help reset studio workspaces, tables, and seating between workshops or events so the next group enters a fresh space.
• Safety First: Ensure walkways are clear of hazards and report any maintenance or repair issues to the studio manager.

Who We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Experience: Proven experience as a janitor, cleaner, or custodian (experience in a workshop, school, or art studio is a major plus!).
• The "Art Eye": Ability to distinguish between an ongoing art project and a mess that needs to be cleared away.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to [e.g., 15kg], bending, standing, and deep cleaning.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive Vibe: A friendly attitude—you’ll be working around artists and guests who love a welcoming environment!
