ADF Technologies Hiring! Full Time PCB Design Engineer in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 4,300 - Ricebowl

We are looking for a hands-on PCB Design Engineer (2+ years experience) to take ownership of our hardware development. You will act as the primary/sole hardware engineer, responsible for end-to-end PCB design, prototyping, and production support, working closely with firmware and mechanical teams.

Key Responsibilities

PCB Design & Development

• Perform schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout (2–6 layers typical)
• Design mixed-signal circuits, power supplies, and embedded interfaces (I²C, SPI, UART, USB)
• Ensure DFM/DFA compliance with guidance from manufacturers

Prototype Bring-Up & Debug

• Support prototype builds and perform board bring-up
• Debug hardware issues using oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer
• Iterate designs based on test results

Production Handover

• Prepare manufacturing files: Gerber, BOM, assembly drawings
• Work with contract manufacturers during prototype and production

Design Improvement

• Support cost-down and reliability improvement activities
• Assist in root cause analysis of field or production issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 2+ years PCB design experience
• Experience with Altium / KiCad / OrCAD
• Knowledge of mixed-signal and power design
• Hands-on debugging skills
• Familiar with DFM / IPC basics
• Experience generating Gerber & BOM for manufacturing

Nice-to-Have

• High-speed design exposure (USB, Ethernet)
• EMS / CM experience
• Basic scripting (Python)
• EMC awareness

Working Hours : 8.30am - 5.30pm

Working Days: Monday – Friday (5 Days Week)
