We are seeking a digitally-savvy Warehouse Assistant Manager to oversee end-to-end
warehouse operations covering raw materials, finished goods, and logistics. The ideal
candidate should combine strong operational leadership with IT/AI readiness to drive
warehouse digitalization, implement smart inventory systems, and optimize supply chain
efficiency through technology-enabled solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Raw Materials Management
- Manage inbound flow of raw materials from procurement, ensuring accurate receiving, inspection, and put-away jobs.
- Maintain optimal raw material inventory levels to support production schedules without overstocking
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely raw material availability
- Track material lifecycle, expiry dates, and storage conditions per ISO/GMP standards
Finished Goods Management
- Oversee outbound flow of finished goods, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and dispatch – for domestic and international markets
- Maintain accurate finished goods inventory records with real-time stock visibility
- Ensure proper storage conditions and efficient 5S housekeeping for finished products
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and conduct regular stock reconciliations
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring complete and compliant documentation
- Liaise with transporters and third-party logistics (3PL) providers for timely deliveries
- Coordinate with Sales on shipping customs procedures for international export/import compliance
- Track warehouse performance indicators: order accuracy, turnaround times, productivity and ensure the highest standards in safety compliance
Team Leadership & Operations
- Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff (including foreign workers) fostering high-performance culture
- Assign work schedules, manage manpower allocation, and workflow scheduling
- Step in to cover Warehouse Manager responsibilities ensuring operational continuity
- Conduct regular facility/equipment inspections for safety compliance and maintenance
- Introduce relevant procedures and concept to drive the warehouse towards innovative efficiencies
IT & AI Readiness (Critical)
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Proficient in operating and optimizing WMS platforms with real-time inventory tracking
- ERP Systems: Experience with SAP ERP or similar enterprise systems
- AI Implementation: Lead adoption of AI-powered tools for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and predictive maintenance
- Digital Reporting: Execute digitalization reporting, automated dashboards, and data-driven analytics
- Automation Ready: Support implementation of warehouse automation (RFID, barcode scanning, automated guided vehicles)
- Data Management: Maintain master data quality, perform SQL queries, and enable business intelligence reporting where required
- System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams on system integrations (WMS-ERPprocurement- customer service)
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse/logistics efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, security, environmental procedures
- Produce regular reports: in/out status, dead stock, inventory variance, productivity metrics and propose workable solutions
- Maintain compliance with customs regulations and international export/import standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years warehouse and logistics experience in a manufacturing environment at managerial/sr. supervisory level
- SCM manufacturing experience preferred
- Experienced with LEAN management, ISO/TS/ IATF 16949 / ISO 28000:2007, AEO, GMP concepts and implementations
- Technical Skills : WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), inventory tracking tools, SAP ERP, INFOR CloudSuite or equivalent, MS Office Suite, Outlook, SQL (basic), AI tools for forecasting, automated reporting, data analytics, Forklift/Reach Truck operation - mandatory
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (mandatory), conversant in Mandarin proficiency – added advantage

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
