Job Overview:

To Support ASEM Failure Analysis (FA) & Reliability (Rel) needs for all devices manufactured in ASEM coming from Manufacturing Low Yield or Excursion, NPI Engineering or Customer Returns.

Primary Responsibilities:

Failure Analysis:

1. To perform FA on devices which are reported to be failing electrical test from Manufacturing/NPI or customer return.

2. To write quality FA report and provide conclusive findings that can help engineering team to root cause the issue.

3. To attend meetings or conference calls to present FA findings, discuss and brainstorm the FA results and help the team to move forward in root cause findings.

4. To lead technicians and operators in assigning and planning daily FA tasks for them.

5. To innovate FA approach or methodology to improve FA capability and cycle time at the lowest cost for the benefits of the organization.

6. To manage FA group KPIs and manage the subordinate’s performance against organization expectation.

7. Coordinate external FA analysis with supplier.

8. Improve FA workstations & foster team safety awareness.

Reliability:

9. Manage Product Reliability Stress in Reliability Lab. Manage stress test chamber activities loading plan and chamber capacity, engage with customer for test estimated completion date and completion report as well as stress test planning in early engagement project.

10. To perform machine operation for HAST, Bake Oven, Reflow, Temp Cycle chamber, Burn In Oven and other Reliability machines as needed.

11. To manage Reliability group KPIs and manage the subordinate’s performance against organization expectation.

12. Innovate and improve overall reliability lab machine capacity. Ensure proper PM, Cal and 5S within Reliability Lab.

13. To work with customer and package design team in any Reliability Statistical needs.

14. To attend meetings or conference calls to present reliability results, discuss and brainstorm the results.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Microelectronics/Applied Physics.

The candidate should have Failure Analysis and/or Reliability experience in semiconductor field for a minimum of 2 years and above related company.

Well versed in using FA & Rel related equipment such as Microscope, Parametric Analyzer, X-ray, CSAM, SEM-EDX, Decapper, TDR, Micro Prober station, FTIR, TC chamber, HAST chamber, Bake oven, Reflow machine and etc.

It will be an added advantage if the candidate has the skillset in Problem Solving, FMEA, 8D Methodology, Material Fractography Analysis and JMP.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
