What The Role Is
You will join AGD’s Assurance Group which oversees the provision of assurance services to the government agencies. You will be part of the Internal Audit Shared Services Directorate and be involved in providing internal audit and financial services at the ministries.
What You Will Be Working On
You will assist Head (Assurance) to complete audit engagements within the public sector and provide reasonable assurance to the Audit Committee over the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with policies, procedures and regulations, as well as to recommend areas of improvements to achieve greater efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Tertiary education in Accountancy with at least 4 years of experience in internal audit
- Professional qualifications such as CA / CIA is preferred
- Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment, internal controls and adoption of data analytics
Generic Competencies - Strong analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous and a team player
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with management at all levels
