Pantech Group Hiring! Full Time IT Executive in Johor - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• Manage and support daily IT infrastructure operations, including servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), and end-user computing devices.
• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, storage solutions, firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and network services to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Support IT infrastructure projects, including system implementation, upgrades and migrations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, health checks, capacity planning, and performance monitoring for servers, storage, network devices, and security systems.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, firewall policies, vulnerability management, access control, backup monitoring, and incident response activities.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes, ensuring data integrity, successful backup completion, and periodic recovery testing.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• Knowledge in Server Administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy), Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), Firewall and Network infrastructure.
• Experience in administration of Microsoft 365, backup solution, Cybersecurity monitoring and incident response.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with users at all levels.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in IT support or system administration.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Applicants must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang and able to travel.
