Job description:

Linux Fundamentals and Bash scripting

Infrastructure and networking

Designing and implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines

Infrastructure Automation- Configuration Management, Infrastructure as Code (IAC)

Monitoring, logging and alerting tools

Container Concepts

Cloud infrastructure (e.g. Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google), Azure, GCP)

Git and Source Control

Cloud-native infrastructure and concepts (e.g. Kubernetes, Helm)

Understanding of DevOps concept and Agile practices

Good communication skills

Superior troubleshooting approach

Continually look for opportunities to develop solutions through automation

Experience in working with software development teams on daily basis

Ability to coordinate work and experience in direct collaboration with the customer (development lead role)

Independence in the analysis of the requirements and designing solutions in line with the requirements

Solving issues in cooperation with solution owners/vendors (for example with Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) support team)

Ability to lead the team (plan and organize work)

Preparing high-quality documentation & presentations for our partners

Version control systems (preferred Git)

Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, CloudFormation)

CI/CD automation suites (Jenkins, Kubernetes)

Creating automation scripts (bash, Python)

Automating software testing (both on unit test level, integration level and performance/load testing level)

Major cloud providers (AWS), on IaaS and PaaS levels

Docker and Kubernetes-based solutions

System monitoring and logging solutions (such as AWS CloudWatch/CloudTrail/X-ray, Prometheus, Grafana, Zipkin, ELK stack and other)

Experience with working in agile/scrum teams

General experience with software engineering is a strong plus

Knowledge of one, higher-level programming languages is a plus (Python, JVM languages, JavaScript and other)

Understanding modern architecture and DevOps concepts such as microservices, serverless, cloud native, DevSecOps, GitOps
