Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations on-site at our Port Moresby office. This role involves managing the procurement lifecycle, sourcing quality suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. You will oversee inventory management, monitor budgets, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and optimize procurement strategies to support ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Purchasing, Procurement, and Vendor Management
- Strong skills in Negotiation, Contract Management, and Cost Optimization
- Proficiency in Inventory Management and Supply Chain Coordination
- Familiarity with Budgeting, Financial Analysis, and Reporting
- Exceptional Communication, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems, such as ERP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the construction or property development industry is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, and team-oriented environment
