Immediate Hiring: IT Integration Engineer
A leading Global Logistics Company is looking for an experienced IT Integration Engineer to join its Architecture & Integration team and play a key role in delivering world-class integration solutions across warehouse management, transportation management, and business applications.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Operating in the CL Architecture & Integration and delivering integration developments.
- Working with Solutions Owners, Solutions Analysts, Business Owners and Customers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Implementing the integration within IT projects meeting customer needs but also in line with overall/global standards and guidelines.
- Developing detailed technical designs based on documented functional specifications and requirements on product services and enhancements. Performs configuration based on documented requirements.
- Consistent and reliable delivery execution of activities to defined service levels, schedules, and budget.
- Providing input for process efficiencies within the overall design.
- Providing expertise in the design process as requested.
- Responding to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with a professional response. Uses standard analytical tools and rules to determine root cause and resolve the broad range of application problems.
For senior role:
- Defining delivery schedules and ensuring execution to plan for assigned deliverables. Lead small scale internal projects as necessary. Coordinating delivery across IT teams.
- Demonstrating command of and applies complex tools and systems (knowledge).
- Contributing towards technological developments within domain or technology (including design, development, test & deploy activities).
- Can directly interact with customers as requested by leadership.
- Providing experience in support of specific functions within the organization.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or Logistics Management.
- 5-9 years of technical hands-on experience in integrations.
- Knowledge and experience in design, test, implementation, deployment and management of applications and services using EDI and API middleware.
- Experience working with communication protocols like SOAP, AS2, http / https, FTP / SFTP / FTPS / OFTP.
- Good level of expertise in functional domain or technology.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration and SOA principles.
- Knowledge and experience on using supporting Development Tools such as GIT/Subversion, Jenkins, Nexus, Nolio, ANT, Maven, SoapUI
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid software engineering skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Strong experience with ANSI X12 EDI messaging standards is MANDATORY.
- Familiarity with RosettaNet PIP messaging and B2B integration processes is MANDATORY.
Scope: Gathers requirements, creates solution design and implements the integration within IT projects meeting customer needs but also in line with overall standards and guidelines
Experience: Typically require 6-8 years of professional experience in multiple areas of business domain and technology (3+ in projects). 1-3 years of experience of operating in large company or recognized IT consultancy advantageous. Experience of actively delivering Integration developments and providing customer support
