Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Executive role based in Johor Baharu. The Procurement Executive will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with warehouse and production teams, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support continuous operations. The Procurement Executive will evaluate supplier performance, maintain accurate procurement records, and prepare reports for management review. Daily responsibilities also include working closely with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements, resolving delivery or quality issues, and supporting cost-saving and process-improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchase orders and purchase management, with experience in end-to-end procurement cycles.
• Well-developed analytical skills to compare quotations, analyze cost and usage data, and support procurement decisions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and management, and to handle negotiations professionally.
• Experience using procurement or ERP systems, and proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email).
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple purchase requests and deadlines.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, plastics, construction materials, or related industries is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Johor Baharu and to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
