The Role

We are looking for an exceptional Product Designer to help shape the future of work through technology. 

As a User Experience Designer at GoGet, you will be responsible for solving complex user and business problems across our marketplace, workforce management, and worker experience products. You will move seamlessly between user research, product strategy, interaction design, visual design, and experimentation to create experiences that are simple, intuitive, and impactful. You will leverage analytics, user research, AI-powered design tools, and deep customer empathy to make informed product design decisions.

At GoGet, we believe the future is not about a traditional UI/UX Designer whose primary responsibility is creating screens. Instead, we are looking for a Product Designer who can leverage AI as a force multiplier while focusing on what matters most: solving meaningful problems for users and the business.

As AI increasingly generates wireframes, design variations, UI components, user flows, UX copy, design systems, and even front-end code, the value will be measured by the ability to identify the right problems, deeply understand users, prioritise opportunities, design scalable systems, and drive measurable outcomes.

We are looking for someone who combines product thinking, user empathy, data-informed decision making, and strong design craft. 

What you’ll do

• Own Problems, Not Screens: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Business teams, communities to understand business objectives and pains
• Write design briefs and define success metrics before designing the actual solutions.
• Plan, conduct research through user interviews, testing sessions, surveys, discovery, analysis and other types of feedback. 
• Synthesize insights into recommendations and use data to ultimately drive decisions
• Design journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, interfaces, UX copy drafts and design systems 
• Take ownership of UX quality for shipped features, including conducting usability tests, validating implementations against design intent, and surfacing experience issues for resolution.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Product Design

1. Design end-to-end user experiences across the GoGet ecosystem, from discovery through execution.
2. Create user journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interfaces, UX copy drafts, and scalable design systems.
3. Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to deliver practical and impactful solutions.

Product Discovery & Problem Definition

1. Identify and validate product opportunities through user insights, behavioural data, and business context.
2. Own problem discovery before solution design, ensuring the team is solving the right problems.
3. Write clear design briefs, define hypotheses, success metrics, and expected outcomes before moving into design execution.

Manage Design Systems, Governance & Quality

1. Own and continuously evolve GoGet's design system, component library, patterns, and design standards to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
2. Establish and maintain design governance processes that enable scalable and high-quality product development.

User Research & Insight Generation

1. Plan and conduct user interviews, usability testing sessions, surveys, field studies, and other research activities independently.
2. Gather insights from multiple sources including workers, businesses, customer support, operations teams, analytics platforms, and community feedback.
3. Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations that influence product strategy and prioritisation.

Design Excellence & AI-Native Workflow

1. Continuously raise the quality and craft of GoGet's product experiences.
2. Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, documentation, UX writing, and design workflows.
3. Stay informed on emerging design practices, technologies, and industry trends.
4. Advocate for design thinking and user-centric decision making across the organisation.

Who will you work with?

You will be part of GoGet's Product team, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Operations, Business teams, and our worker and business communities to design and deliver impactful product experiences. 

Requirements

3–5 years of experience Product Design, UX Design or related fields

Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent design platforms.

Desire to learn how to design with AI design tools

Understand Front-End realities (not as an engineer): HTML/CSS basics, Responsive design, Component systems, Design tokens, Technical constraints 

Ability to write own design brief
