Seeking a proactive and results-driven Category Executive to manage assigned product categories and drive business growth through effective product sourcing, pricing strategies, promotions, and category planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet market demands and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product categories and oversee pricing strategies and promotional activities.
• Drive sales growth and profitability for the assigned categories.
• Source and identify products that align with market trends and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Buying, Marketing, and Merchandising teams.
• Formulate and execute long-term category development strategies.
• Plan and implement effective promotional campaigns in line with the company's business objectives.
• Develop exit strategies for underperforming or unsuccessful products.
• Conduct data analysis on sales performance, best-selling items, and product trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support category decisions.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of buying or category management experience, preferably in the F&B or retail industry.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Results-oriented with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Possess own transportation and be willing to travel when required.
