Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Read technical drawings and design specifications and ensure that the construction as per Client GP is met.
· Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
· Testing and Commissioning of All Electrical system like MCC, Transformers, UPS, LightiTroubleshooting
· Trouble shooting of Electrical & Instrument system
· Preparation of the Loop folders & Job Packs.
· Pre-Calibration and Calibration of Instruments like Transmitters Flow, Pressure, Temperature and Level transmitters, Control Valves, EBV Valves, relief Valves, Self-Actuating Control Valve and maintaining the documents.
· Commissioning, Calibration and maintenance of various make Field & Panel Instruments like Pressure, Temperature, Flow & Level Measurements and Final Control Elements.
· P&ID, Instruments Index, Cable schedule, JB Schedule, Loop diagram, Panel wiring & Hook up drawing.
· Preparation of the data sheets for Electrical and Instrument system.
· Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
· Monitor and make sure the specifications of purchasing materials are meet client requirement.
· Prepare Quality plan, ITP, Audit plan in compliance with the Clients operational procedures
· Liaise with contractors and clients
· Supervise and train project team members as necessary
· Observe conditions impacting design and to identify solutions to technical design problems involving electrical systems equipment that arise during construction
· Ensure that corrective actions are followed up and implemented
Job Requirements
· Diploma/ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or maritime related fields with one (3+) years of relevant full-time experience.
· Prior experience in the Maritime/Oil & Gas industries and shipyards will be highly advantageous.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc).
· A working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA Codes and Standards Relating to Electrical and Instrumentation work.
· Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations
· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Responsible, Meticulous and able to work under pressure.
· Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
Pay: $800.00 - $2,000.00 per month
