Role: AWS Architect (Multi-Cloud)

Position Overview:

AWS Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, modernise and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions on AWS while bringing working knowledge of Azure to guide hybrid and multi-cloud conversations.

The role spans architecture strategy, solution design, migration and modernisation, and stakeholder engagement across complex enterprise environments.

The AWS Architect works closely with AWS, Microsoft, business partners, stakeholders and application owners to shape pragmatic architectures that align to business goals, governance requirements and long-term transformation roadmaps.

Essential Skills:

AWS Certified: AWS Solutions Architect Professional (preferred)

Proven expertise in AWS cloud architecture, migration, modernisation and enterprise solution delivery.

Working experience with Azure services and architecture patterns, with the ability to compare, position and integrate AWS and Azure capabilities in client discussions.

Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, data and application services across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Hands-on knowledge of automation and DevOps/IaC tooling such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CI/CD pipelines and container platforms.

Exceptional communication and consulting skills, with the ability to engage senior business and technical stakeholders and translate complex concepts into actionable decisions.

Self-driven with a strong sense of initiative, facilitation capability and the ability to lead architecture discussions independently across distributed teams.
