Responsibilities

What The Role Is

The Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) which aims to pioneer innovation solutions and develop world class science and technology capabilities to transform and empower the Home Team in delivering safety and security for Singapore.

The jobholder will support the development, implementation, and adoption of Reference Architecture across the Home Team, working closely with stakeholders. The role contributes to ensuring consistent architectural standards, promotes best practices, and facilitates collaboration among various stakeholder groups, while maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture policies and guidelines.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Support Home Team’s Enterprise Reference Architecture Practice – Contribute to the development and adoption of enterprise reference architectures across HTX. Support the Architecture Review Board and engage with external agencies on policy and architecture updates.

    2. Stakeholder Engagement – Work with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective enterprise architecture practice across HTX.

What We Are Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, engineering or a related engineering field.
  • At least 2 of experience in relevant technical working experience.
  • Exposure to reference architecture work is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise systems or public sector IT governance is a bonus.
  • Good understanding of architecture concepts, frameworks, and documentation practices.
  • Strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and systems thinking.
  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with government IT policies (e.g. IM8) is a plus.



All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
