Responsibilities
Role Overview:
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, administration, and support of enterprise cloud and infrastructure environments. You will play a critical role in delivering infrastructure projects, maintaining system availability, and ensuring operational excellence across server, virtualization, storage, and network platforms. Working closely with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, you will troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform system upgrades and maintenance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud and data centre operations. This role offers the opportunity to work with mission-critical technologies while expanding your expertise in cloud, virtualization, and modern infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor technical project activities to ensure successful delivery.
· Participate in the deployment, upgrade, and enhancement of cloud, server, network, and infrastructure environments.
· Provide operational support for enterprise systems and ensure service delivery in accordance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
· Perform preventive maintenance, system health checks, and routine operational activities to maintain system availability and reliability.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure, system, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation, implementation plans, operational procedures, and project reports.
· Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to deliver effective infrastructure solutions and support services.
Requirements:
· Experience supporting Windows Server and/or Linux environments in virtualized infrastructures.
· Hands-on experience or familiarity with virtualization technologies and hypervisors (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) will be advantageous.
· Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers.
· Understanding of cloud infrastructure, systems administration, and IT operations principles.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
