Guide Dogs Singapore (GDS) is seeking an exceptional leader to guide the organisation into its next chapter of growth, impact and sustainability.

For two decades, GDS has been empowering people with visual impairments to live independently and confidently through a range of mobility, rehabilitation, education and support services. We are now looking for a dynamic Executive Director who shares our commitment to inclusion and can inspire our team, partners and supporters to help us achieve even greater impact.

The Opportunity

This is more than a leadership role. It is an opportunity to shape the future of a respected charity, advocate for greater accessibility and inclusion, and make a tangible difference in the lives of people and families across Singapore.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will lead the organisation’s strategy, operations, fundraising, partnerships and people while serving as its public ambassador and champion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and drive organisational growth and sustainability.

• Lead fundraising, donor engagement and corporate partnerships.

• Build strong relationships with government agencies, community organisations and key

stakeholders.

• Ensure excellence in programme delivery and beneficiary outcomes.

• Oversee financial performance, governance and compliance.

• Inspire, develop and lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

• Champion accessibility, inclusion and awareness for people with visual impairments.

About You

You are an experienced and respected leader with:

• Proven senior leadership experience in the nonprofit, social service, healthcare, education or

related sectors.

• A strong track record in fundraising, stakeholder engagement and partnership development.

• Excellent business acumen and financial management skills.

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Experience working with boards and governance structures.

• A collaborative leadership style and a passion for creating positive social impact.

Most importantly, you are someone who believes that every individual deserves the opportunity to live independently, participate fully in society and realise their potential.

Why Join Us?

• Lead one of Singapore’s most respected disability service organisations.

• Make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of people with visual impairments.

• Work alongside a committed Board, passionate team and dedicated volunteers.

• Build partnerships that create positive change across the community.

• Leave a legacy of inclusion, empowerment and independence.

If you are a visionary leader who combines strategic thinking with compassion, purpose and execution, we would love to hear from you. Join us in helping people navigate life with confidence, independence and dignity.

An attractive remuneration package will be offered, benchmarked against NSCC salary guidelines and commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
