Executive Director / Director (Space Master Planning)

West-Central, Singapore | Contract (3 Years, Extendable)

We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to drive the planning, development, and optimisation of facilities and asset management strategies supporting research and office space needs.

In this role, you will develop long-term space master plans and infrastructure renewal strategies, supported by market and financial analysis, while partnering closely with key stakeholders to ensure a sustainable and efficient workplace. You will also oversee end-to-end space-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, budget, and timelines, including smooth transition into operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term space master plans and utilisation strategies aligned with organizational growth and research needs
• Lead construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, budget, and timelines
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and quality standards
• Conduct site assessments to identify optimisation opportunities across the portfolio
• Partner with stakeholders to align requirements and ensure successful implementation of space strategies
• Drive space standardization and efficiency improvements
• Oversee cost management and track performance for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 15+ years of experience in construction management and/or asset portfolio management
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, with at least 7 years of experience
• Experience in R&D space planning is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, technologies, and contract management
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects
• Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
