Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia in Puchong!


The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering operational projects that drive efficiency, scalability, and service excellence. This role will manage initiatives such as hypercare support for new implementations, new product launches, cross-border operations projects, and other strategic operational improvements. The position requires strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of logistics and e-commerce operations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Project Management & Delivery


  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for operational initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies, follow up with stakeholders to ensure delivery.


Hypercare & Stabilization

  • Lead new customer hypercare projects
  • Oversee hypercare activities post-implementation to ensure smooth transition and operational stability.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution during hypercare phases.


New Product & Service Launches

  • Coordinate operational readiness for new product introductions, including process design and SOP development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Commercial, Customer Service) to ensure seamless rollout


Cross-Border Operations Projects

  • Manage projects related to cross-border logistics, compliance, and network optimization.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and service level agreements.


Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and KPIs.


Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement best practices.
  • Support digitalization and automation initiatives within operations.


Desired Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or project management within logistics/e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border logistics and operational processes.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.


Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
