Job Summary

Render comprehensive M&E engineering support to project leadership, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and quality execution of building and civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver M&E engineering support to the M&E Manager, Project Manager, and Planning Manager to drive successful project execution
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, consultant representatives (RE / RTO), relevant authorities, and subcontractors to resolve M&E issues and challenges
  • Collaborate with M&E subcontractors and project structural and architectural teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues on site
  • Participate actively in project and progress meetings to align with master program schedules and project milestones
  • Manage and control M&E drawings and documentation on site to ensure accuracy and accessibility
  • Ensure timely production, submission, and approval of M&E shop drawings, materials submissions, and method statements before implementation
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all M&E site activities to ensure they are executed on schedule and according to approved plans
  • Supervise and guide M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, materials, and method statements
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive M&E progress reports as required to inform project status and decisions
  • Coordinate and arrange all M&E Testing and Commissioning (T&C) works to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with consultants to develop and implement site inspection schedules for relevant government authority approvals
  • Work closely with the EHS Department to enforce strict compliance with safety regulations on site

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a Main Contractor in project management and/or site coordination for building or civil projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong teamwork skills and effective communication abilities across all organizational levels
