Key Responsibilities

As an Application Engineer at OneSystems Technologies Pte. Ltd, you will be the core technical hands-on execution resource responsible for deploying and integrating our software solutions for enterprise customers. Reporting directly into a Solutions Engineer, you will focus on the tactical delivery lifecycle—handling application configurations, writing integration scripts, mapping data, and executing technical onboarding tasks based on defined solution designs.

This role requires strong technical execution skills (scripting, API configuration, and system troubleshooting) combined with clear client-facing communication. You will work under the guidance of the Solutions Engineer to ensure our applications are seamlessly embedded into the client's ecosystem, helping to drive smooth deployments and minimize friction during go-live.

This is a full-time position based in the Woodlands North Region, offering the opportunity to work for a dynamic and forward-thinking technology company at the forefront of the security industry.

• Deployment Execution: Install, configure, and optimize our applications within customer cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments based on technical blueprints provided by the Solutions Engineer.

• Hands-on Integration: Build "glue code", configure APIs, and write custom scripts to connect our application with the customer's existing data lakes, enterprise software, and legacy systems.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, perform data validation, and assist with performance benchmarking prior to pushing environments live.

• Technical Onboarding: Assist in running technical walkthroughs, demonstrations, and training sessions to help onboard the customer's operational and engineering teams.

• Issue Troubleshooting: Act as a key technical resource for diagnosing and resolving complex, real-time application and environment issues during the implementation and hyper-care launch phases.

• Documentation & Feedback: Maintain accurate technical deployment documentation and flag real-world environment friction or edge cases to the Solutions Engineer to improve the delivery playbook.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in technical deployment, application support, or software integration.

• Good working knowledge of web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and core communication protocols (e.g., HTTP, MQTT, WebSockets).

• Solid proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript, or PowerShell) and strong SQL skills for data verification and mapping.

• Basic experience or exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), and networking concepts (firewalls, DNS, load balancers).

• Strong team player with clear verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting directly with a client's technical staff.

• A methodical approach to debugging and isolating application errors in live or staging environments under tight project timelines.

• Familiarity with integrating or deploying AI/ML models, working with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, or practical experience utilizing AI tools to optimize deployment workflows is a strong plus.
