Job Summary
Supports a purchasing team by processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing vendor documentation. Ensures that daily buying operations run smoothly, inventory records remain accurate, and supplier payments are processed efficiently.
Responsibilities
Process purchase orders and verify invoice pricing to ensure accurate payment submissions to the Accounts Department
Communicate with suppliers via email to resolve invoice discrepancies and clarify order details
Update inventory records and perform stock deductions in the system based on warehouse data to maintain accurate inventory levels
Prepare reports to support purchasing and inventory management activities
Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by supervisors to support team operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial machinery trading industrial sector
Proficient in Excel to manage data and reporting tasks
Ability to start work within a short period of time
Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients
