Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, preparing proposals, coordinating project timelines, and overseeing the delivery of solutions in collaboration with internal teams. The role involves monitoring account performance, analyzing data, and preparing regular reports and presentations for clients and management. The Account Manager will also identify opportunities for account growth, support contract renewals, and work closely with sales, operations, and finance to ensure smooth execution of client initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in account management, client service, or relationship management, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client partnerships.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comfort with data analysis and reporting, including using spreadsheets, CRM systems, and other business tools to track performance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on solutions, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results for clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to the client base are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in the local WP. Kuala Lumpur market or familiarity with regional business practices is beneficial.
